Can I do this or will it run to rich

If ur tuner is within a few miles it is possible. Just no boost. Stay out of the throttle. This is never the best idea.

if your tuner is close go for it it will run rich and I wouldn't drive it ling that way

You can do it for a few miles. I went from 42's to 80's and drove about 20 miles partly through town. It started to correct at the end of the journey but still could barely take off from a stop without stalling. I then pumped in e47 and drove 2 miles to get the tune.
