He's looking for beta testers..... for new calibrations. After reading a post on our local board I thought he might be talking about you. He mentioned some guy with a SS and a 11 sec mustang.

Ya, a few guys here in Michigan have access to tune, but don't want to go public with it.

From what I hear this guy has already seen the new "Blue Devil" Supercharged Corvette. He must have some connections. I'm anxious to see what he can do with the Cobalt.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's got the #1 (first built) Trailblazer SS too. Talk about connections.

If you go to that website and read, it sounds like the tuning that he is looking at doing is for the SS 2.4 NA, not the LSJ.

He'll do all versions.... 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 if you want him too.

Trust me, I'm sure he has official GM software and can tune anything GM.

Actually, if you guys e-mail him, he might hook us up on like a group purchase type thing. Maybe we can get a discounted dyno tuning package if a certain number of us go. Just a thought, and it's definetely worth trying!

Thats gay if they dont make some sort of public program. Money hungry bastards are going to keep the tuning abilities to only themselves. Guess we still wait till someone breaks the pcm... and comes out with some sort of programmer... so that anyone can do their own special tune.

I think he doesn't have the ability to make a handheld tuner, his hardware only allows for flash tunes in his shop.

Chances are he has a dealer scan tool (like the 7000 one ) or his bro owns a dealership or w/e. When I had a dakota it was the same way. The one chrysler dealer would custom flash our pcm's and there was like 1 oter guy as well. That was it.

There is a difference between being able to flash a PCM with a set of instructions and file provided by your GM tech service and being able to custom tune a PCM.

That's awesome news. Even better since he is local. Chris seemed like a nice guy the few times I've talked to him (on other boards). He offered to do some work on my GTP, to bad it was totaled before I got the chance.
