Mine takes premium only, it runs like total **** on anything else and I have very minimal engine mods. Stage 2 definitely premium fuel only.

I run premium in mine, I think its because I got that re-flash to get rid of intake cels, but when I did that I had like 90% race gas, and I think it calibrated the timing based on the race fuel, cause I knock with crappy premium! I don't mind though, plus my car is crazy fast!

they dont need premium stock, but they are noticably faster with premium(especially if u go from the dealer putting in 87 to putting in 93/94 in) and with stage 2 there is no doubt that you need premium, i wouldnt put in anything lower than 92, and i would only put in 92 if i absolutly had to.

For those of us not blessed with 93+ gas stations nearby, 91 will work fine with stage 2.

Stupid AZ...

my car has never seen anything less than 93 octane since ive had it. its worth paying the extra money, to have the car running like it was designed to

I would run the best gas you can get in your area (here it's 92) as I'm sure you want the best preformance so your only going to get it with the bast gas.

The next mod I'd do is Cold Air intake & the Ingals stiffy motor mount to stop wheel hop as what good is more power if you just rip the drive line up ???

I just bought the 2.8 pulley to add to mine & just want to warn you to make sure the installer of your STG2 kit gives you back the torks bits that came with the kit needed to remove your STG2 pulley if you ever want to FYI

I have all of the above & its great & I think my next 2 mods will be Exhaust & some sweet chrome wheels to set it off from the rest

i always put premium.. its a difference of like 3 dollars for a full tank, and it will run better and faster, so why the hell not. dont skimp out on 3 bucks when u bought a $24000 forced induction "sports car"

Ha. It's funny the difference it makes. When I bought mine I guess they had used normal (87?) and the next time I refueled I put in normal. But after that I put in premium and wow. Haha it was like a speed boost out of the gas station. Woo. Premium... Woo 3 dollars a gallon...

I would get a CAI and an exhaust while your still in the break in period then go for the stage 2. I heard the stage 2 isnt fully effective when you arent free flowin. Hope this helps. Oh ya just put in the best gas you can.
