Car dying

Wanted to see if anyone else was having this problemo:

This is the second or third time this has happened.
My 07 SS.SC totally shutting down while in 2nd gear or today I was sitting at a light and it just died....(pressing on the gas, no good)
Thing is my head lights didnt dim at all, nor did any of my lights go off....
Is this an electrical problem or a battery problem? I didnt get any indicators at all, just died.
Anyone experiencing anything similar?

Hmm, that is unusual if you get the reduced power thing I know what that is... but just sitting at idle that is a new one!

When did you get your SS/SC?
If it was one of the first 2007's, some of them apparently had a common problem with faulty fuel pump connectors. The dealer should be able to take care of it.

Either the connectors that run the fuel pump are screwed, your alternator may be messed up or your engine is ready to blow.

Somthing similar happened to me on the highway when I redlined 3rd gear, and pulled to the nearest exit because my gas pedal was dead lol nothin was working, car was still running, and I was at a stop light with traffic, and then the car just died.......like wtf?!?! Wouldnt start back up no matter how hard I tried, ended up rollin it off the exit into an abandonded parking lot, did'nt know what was going on because the car seemed fine except the fact that it wouldnt start....then 10-15 minutes later it started lol, and come to found out the car went into "lump mode", and now my car has been running fine since.

yes I had that problem once, it did not want to restart either, my buddy who had an SS/SC at the time said "remove the key, let it sit 5 minutes and it will restart" .... CED said it was the gas.... they recommend using only SHELL premium, I did that and have never had the problem again! actually I put BP in also
