Car wont stop going rich

I posted a thread a while back about how my car would randomly go rich under very slight load. It used to only happen once and a while but now when the car is warmed up it will sometimes do it maybe once a minute and sometimes every 3 seconds. It goes from stoich right down to like 13.5 or lower and on the scanner it shows a commanded 13.5 AFR when that happens. I just replaced the primary O2 sensor and it didnt help. I dont like driving the car like this since I have to let off the car so much and as you can imagine the fuel mileage **** the bed. If I go WOT it is just fine or anything above about 50% throttle I guess, but under light load it happens. Anyone hear of this happening or had it happen to them? Im really lost and would like to just be able to drive my car normal!

Thanks in advance

Something like that happened to me, found out it was a tuning issue and PE was set to be on at all times except idle fixing that fixed my problems

Yeah me too man. Oh forgot to mention the 13.5 afr is converted to gasoline afr. Im not running that lean on E lol

Im thinkin maybe i should try tuning VE to see if that takes care of it. Maybe just under light load under 4k rpms or something

Rico I thought you meant the old E85 tune.

Hmm i found an exhaust leak at the header and dp flange that I just fricken fixed before winter so that may have something to do with it. This cold weather makes my car **** the bed

I have the complete opposite issue

when in my normal maf based tune on 91 octane my car @ WOT pegs 10.0, but cruising the afrs are dandy.

I replaced the maf sensor, and still can't get wot maf dialed in. It's like it doesn't wanna listen!

So today on startup it threw a P0135 and cruising it threw a P1133. It has thrown the 1133 before but not for a long time but before today I never saw the 0135

Well I still cant figure it out, the codes point to something with the O2 sensor, but i swapped that. So Im going to try swapping in my other MAF just for ***** and gigs to see if perhaps thats the reason

Man this is an old thread! Its a rear o2 sanity check. Need to leave the o2 sensor codes enabled but turn the MIL light off. The car will see that it has failed the check and moved on instead of continuing to try the check.
