What about passing emissions testing for your inspection?

If your cat is clogged you will know quickly. The car will over boost, and the power won't be there at all. The car will sputter and buck as well. When I pulled mine out, I grabbed the downpipe by the end to see inside, and all the stuff just fell out and made a mess on my garage floor! Half were chunks that were melted, and the other half was like a sand sized pieces.

I just took my cat out completely, in fact I don't even have a rear O2 sensor. I just disabled all the cels with HP Tuners.

Back when i had my Redline my cat clogged up big pain in thge ass. The car wouldn't go anywhere and the thing turned orange from all the heat. Just go with a DP with a high flow cat your difference is only giong to be like 2-3 hp from catless.

My cat clogged up after i got my 2.5" pulley and 60lb injectors, and it actually blew a hole through the side of teh flex pipe. Took it to the dealer, and they replaced it with no questions asked. About 3 weeks later, after a few hard runs I popped the hood and the cat was glowing, so I gutted it before it ruined the whole downpipe again. Disabled the sensor and CEL's and, No problems since.

I say replace it with a Magnaflow High Flow *****. It's well worth it. Having no ***** at all might be a pain and people might say the lack of a ***** makes your car sound like ass.

Overall, just take care of the clogged ***** by getting another one.

But seriously, he's right. From what I know, and this depends on the laws where you are, but the fine for getting caught without one.....oww.....

Clogged cat? You would have to have a weak brick inside and/or an excessive high EGT caused from a super lean or super rich scenario. I would just get something like the Random Tech and call it a day!
