Ok so i already have the header and downpipe done and right now i'm just using a megan racing muffler in place of the stock muffler, but i'm about ready to spend the money and do the full catback. I am planning to go custom and this is what i've come up with.

This in place of the resonator: Magnaflow glasspack. Magnaflow 18146 Glasspack Muffler 4 Dia 26" 2.5/2.5 - eBay (item 230599655534 end time Apr-19-11 21:20:03 PDT)

This for the muffler: Magnaflow oval muffler. MagnaFlow Muffler 5" x 8" Oval 24" Body 2.5" C/C 12276 - eBay (item 370492332318 end time Apr-11-11 16:17:06 PDT)

This for the tip: Magnaflow 4" tip. Magnaflow SS Exhaust Tip 2.5" Inlet 5" Long 4" Outlet - eBay (item 330549079887 end time May-01-11 15:13:41 PDT)

mainly the only question I have is what should i do about the piping for the catback? Just search around for local people that can mandrel bend me some 2.5"? and do you think this should sound decent with just a smidge of better performance?

I have a magnaflow muffler and resonator with 2.5" piping and I like the sound, but I don't have the same resonator.

 

did you get the magnaflow catback or did you get custom 2.5" piping?

 

use the stock piping and get the CTI over axle conversion...orrrrrr get it off of mandrelbenttubing.com or whatever

exactly, so just use stock and the over the axel thing, the only restrictions are the inlet of the stock resonator and the over the axle section so replace that

 

I originally had an SLP Loudmouth 2 system. But with an exhaust leak/problem I decided to go with a little quieter set up and resonated it and changed the muffler, and just used the tubing that I already had.

well the resonator will be replaced with that magnaflow glasspack. I'm just hoping maybe somwhere around here can do the over the axle bend that way it's cheaper than spending 100 somethin on that peice of pipe.
