catless or cat
catless or cat
My flex pipe on my lsj down pipe broke today. Went to numerous exhaust shops and no one could fix it. My dp is already a 2.5 after market catted dp unsure of what kind but it deff has a high flow cat. My question is since I can't fix the down pipe I'm going to replace it with a zzp since its the best deal but should I go cattles I'm already tuned for the down stream 02 delete and just wanting to free up a bit of power. Also running a 2.5 magnaflow cat back.
I always thought a rotten egg smell came from a cat going bad. Never smelled rotten eggs from removing one. The reason I'm wanting to go cattless is because the dp is cheaper and I'm on limited funds. I could cut my old high flow cat out and put it in the new dp but don't want to molest a brand new dp. Also I don't have strict emission laws in TN so it would never matter. Then on the other hand I don't want my car to be insain loud either

OP said magnaflow.
I'd go with a high flow cat.
I was riding around with a burned out cat for awhile and it was just way to raspy and loud on my megan.
Got another high flow cat, and it's a lot better. No rasp.
