So ive searched and cant find a clip or an answer, My car is a DD, I want to keep a stock exhaust mani on it(may port it) and a stock catback. However I want to get rid of the cat and do a ZZP bolt in catless dp, so my question is, has anyone heard a stock exhaust with catless downpipe? i dont want really any rasp. Thanks!

 

i do believe there was piece on this... but ill see if i can find something... and you wont get rasp with a gutted cat.. i got a gutted cat vibrant header, vibrant dp, and straight pipe to a vibrant muffler, no raspy.. my magnaflow rasped like nasty ********... but ya if you got a good muffler at the end then your good.. and becareful with emmissions, state inspections, my brother just failed his in tx for his WRX cuz he has no cat on his highflow DP...

 

i got the 2.5" catted dp from zzp and it's raspy as **** with my stock exhaust, but only when cold. the car has almost 70k tho so it's prbably time for a new resonator.

 

do not run catless on a sc car lol sounds so shitty and really loud haha zzp 3" catted down pipe ftw

On my SC 2.2 I had ported stock LSJ manifold,ZZp 2.5 catless dp, 2.5 piping,magnaflow resonator and stock LAJ muffler.It was stupid quiet,I hated it so swapped it for all new piping,kept the magnaflow resonator and put a magnaflow muffler on it.it sounds tittayz!!!!

Ported LSJ manifold,ZZP 2.5 catless DP, magnaflow 22" resonator,2.5 piping,2.5 magnaflow muffler,stock LSJ exhaust tip.Supercharged 2.2 on 2.9 pulley.
