catless question
Hey real quick guys/gals,
Just to make sure I can install a catless DP, with out tuning, all its going to do is run a code. it wont change my fuel mix will it?
i will be getting the sensor turned off sometime after that but dont know when.

Well, it depends...
If the Cat Over temp protection is on... it messes with something... its either timing or AFR (obviously) but i cant remember which..

mines catless on stock dp you just need to turn the p0420 code off because the back o2 will read the same as the front.
don't get catless. it sounds like pure ass. catted cti dp on the way .

this only half helps me, im already getting it and its 3inch. i am going to put a cut out in it. i dont think there is a space for the stock after cat O2 sensor just a wideband and the b4 cat narrow band

the question should be what is the point of having a cat if your having a cutout? Why spend the extra hundred bucks if you dont need to.. since its not even making it out the muffler anyway?

the only reason in my eyes for a cat is for E-Check. and im keeping my stock exhaust for that reason.... i bought my car new so i have a good handful of years b4 that happens.
also it is a bit difucult to install a cut out properly with a cat in the way

i went catless it sounds bad ass i actually felt a little difference. it will lower your boost and the check engine light will come on. my idle was a little fu**ed up it idled rough. i just got tuned for it last night and it fixed it

no improvement, i bogged it and then waited for the ramp up of boost to hit.... sooo slow. i think im gonna get it changed to like start at 50% and ramp to 80%ish.
