My car has 62k and i'm on my third dealer/warranty replaced cat.
My first blew out at 600 miles.
I received a letter in the mail from GM saying my cat warranty was extended because it's a 2006 or some crap a few months back.
I don't remember how long the warranty is extended but if I'm thinking right, it was over 10 years.
I will look and get back to you.
I just think these car eat cats (not the meowing kind, lol) and o2 sensors.

Replace with a high-flow, yeah it'll cost you out of pocket but you won't have to keep ******* with it

Catless is the est way to go if u live I. A big city and the police like the sound of your car. But if u want quiet don't. U don't have to have a retune for the downpipe but as like any tuner I would recommend it. If u go catless go with zzp 3 inch d.p catless I have one and it's the **** lol. I blew my cat 3 times by owning it for. 1 1/2 kinda bad gm can afford to make emmisions parts last lol

you guys are always funny around here....... i know i should do this eventually but damn man didnt these used to last almost the life of a vehicle?????? im just trying to figure out what about it does it is it the tune ??? the vibations from the motor? the slamming and or backfiring????? something has to be doing this and to make things worse............ i was kinda upset and driving hard and noticed that boost cut never hits it will build to what the gauge says "15 psi" or so.... doesnt make sense. im just hoping cyl 4 doesnt pop a piston again i will be suing and making them take this crap back. guess this was just another "oops" on gms part just like the wheelhop and the crappy clutch from factory and the cyl 4 issues we always see.... and the coolant loss issues with the coolant passages in the intakes..... please if i missed one of the other 600 problems with these be my guess and add. but hey the fixed all of it in 08 yippee kay ******* aye for that.

The LSJ engines have a rich tune which contributes to the failure.

Take the car in and have them replace it... GM extended the cat warranty on the LSJ.

I only had mine replaced because my flex pipe cracked and had a leak. There is extended warranty on them, you should have got a letter.
