center force clutch

i was thinking about puting in a center force clutch casuse my stock one is almost done.
on the web site it say that the center force clutchs flywheel is 5 pounds lighter.
will this make the car rev quicker?

bump

Lighter will rev faster.

However a few members have not liked the centerforce brand. You may want to look into the SPEC stage 2+ or 3+ as it will hold up better, you can still get a light weight aluminum flywheel, which will allow for those faster revs.

Ive also heard that the center force clutch isnt good so I probably would go with Exedy if money isnt a issue or maybe even ACT and yeah the lighter the flywheel the faster the revs so....clutch is totally up to you man....good luck

ACT is still not shipping, they are working on the flywheel we last heard.

Exedy hyper single is good also as stated here, we do have a killer price on them right now on www.TurboTechRacing.com

Oh, yeah, confused me, I knew the gear ratio was different, but the case is not. Should just flip out the gears set.

Well that 6 speed gear set u guys got is nice but 4000 just for the gears and then i need to find someone that will be able to work on it and i also need a lsd and that anouther 1000 plus a clutch so that like 7000 just for a tranny swap!!! So thats alittle out of the question

I have a centerforce df, and it held up fine for me. I was running at 320 to the wheels, and had absolutely no issues with it grabbing. Only thing was with the chatter like mentioned before.

I wonder if the spec chatters...

2+ or 3+ is the ONLY way to go if you get a SPEC.
