I know this is about 2.5 years old, but I wanted to post anyways. This is the exact reason why I try to NOT deal in absolutes......ten dollars is clearly owed for poor judgement on this "ASE master technician's" part. The coolant may have originated from the water jackets below the head gasket, but it sure as heck ended up coming out of the valve cover gasket.
