Everytime I let off the gas pedal, which makes the car slightly jerk the driveline a bit...as with almost any MT car...I hear a slight tick noise. Happens just once. I don't know if maybe a mount is broken and causing the tranny/motor to bang against something slightly making it tick or what. It is not gear related..happens in any gear. It is just the driveline jerk when you let off that triggers the tick, and like I stated, it's not continuous ticking..it just ticks once. Does anyone know what this is???? Is it a engine or tranny mount that is broken?

 

is it cuz the clutch hub is sprung and it just wants to spin slower than faster? im a bad explainer.

Did you inspect the motor mount? It seems to be a common problem that the motor mount breaks. not so much the mount, but the transmission.
