I have had my SS for about 3 months, and started to notice a single click when you downshift and also when you back up your car. I was wondering if this was normal. Also it seems to go into 3rd and 4th kind of hard, just wondering if this is normal.

 

To my knoledge, the clicking is normal. Everyone I asked also said it's normal. I personally have never heard it on another standard shift car, but I have not noticed any problems.

 

The click is on the outside of the car, it is not the neutral saftey switch on the inside. Just thought that i would clear this up a little
