e to the x 08-03-2006 01:29 PM

Well I'd do it if I could: 1) afford it; 2) install it myself; 3) had other upgrades already to warrant this upgrade. :P

06blackg85ss 08-03-2006 02:01 PM

STG II gm maff setup not the basic stg II basic stg II is 399.... well I got mine coming in tomorrow.... I"ll let you know how it is... but from everything I hear, its the best thing to run with the amount of boost I have.

Since this really is the topic of meth/water injection can you explain more about it. Like how you supply the meth/water, how you refill it, ect.?

p.s. Donna I sent you a myspace friend request :P

Well its supplied with a 125psi pump from a resevior (you can use -30 deg windshield washer fluid 1.99-2.99 a gal) it runs off an adj maf sensor which increases flow per maf signal (amount of air ingested into intake) It cools your intake charge off quite dramitcally and helps keep air temps after the blower down too, plus the addition of methanol basically bumps your octane level to somewhere around 110 so you can run a race gas tune on 93 octane pump gas....

Oh ok. This is recomended for upgraded stage kits I'm assuming right?

06blackg85ss 08-03-2006 04:26 PM

yeah its good when your runnin anytype of boost.... its better for higher levels but I don't see a negative of running at more moderate levels of boost.

06blackg85ss 08-04-2006 02:14 AM

It does spray into the intake, but it is sprayed at high pressure and basically atomizes, also with the heat of the s/c it pretty much vaporizes....

Cool beans. I still think I'd put in a stage kit first of course.
