Cobalt SS Vs. Brick Wall...
So I had a little incident this morning going to work, long story short I actually ended up running into work. Right front head light is ordered and the bumper needs replaced along with the radiator/intercooler support piece. Not sure what it's called just the bar that protects the cooling systems.
I was looking at prices and I got a good deal on a used head light, but the bumpers are sooo expensive. Does anybody run the (Authentic AIT Racing ZEN Series Body Kit) Its an ebay item If you type in "cobalt ss front bumper" its right there. I know some aftermarket stuff has a lot of fitment issues and I was wondering if anybody is running it and how it went on?
I'll try and post some pictures soon....

Well we got 4 inches of snow here last night and I made it all the way to work just fine until the last stop sign i slid through. The anti-lock was going off for over 200 feet and i still ran into the building i work in at about ten mph..fml. It wasn't plowed so it was all nice and packed down but it wasn't ice or anything just really slippery. If i can figure this picture thing out ill post them

seriously??? get them lol... I pulled out of my driveway backwards in 7 inches of snow, and didn't shovel it out. ZERO tire slippage. Well worth the 550 shipped. You'll probably pay that much to fix the car anyways.

Yeah it will be around there. If i don't have to replace the crash bar i'm looking at around 400 after the paint and alignment. I'm probably getting that aftermarket front end. I don't trust the poly prothalene mix or whatever it's called. My dad's just like you need a beater truck or jeep. Something cheap and 4x4
or snow tires, and then you don't need a beater. summer tires are obviously not meant to be driven in the snow, and this is why i make so many posts about it. If you had winter tires, you would have not had any issues.

You think? I've never driven a "car" as a dd before this one so i don't know how much of a difference they really make. I would like to park it in the winter tho and a little truck would be nice so i can haul the dirtbike around when i need to
For reference, I live on top of a mountain, to put into perspective, the ski slopes are DOWN the hill from me lol... (I live in a ski area, there are 3 different ski places within about 5 minutes) when you're in town, and look up and see the mountain in the background, i'm on the tippy top. And i've never once slipped, slid, had a problem starting, or braking. We had a real bad ice storm last year, again, no problem, not even driving the almost 7 miles up the mountain to get home. I literally had no idea there was ice on the ground until I got home and almost busted my ass in the driveway. I've driven around trucks that got stuck in the snow a bunch of times.
Some people like to store their car, but honestly I don't see the point in storing a car like this. With minimal money, it's an absolute beast in the snow. Trust me, once you drive your car with good snow tires, you will never, ever want to drive another car without them.
