on a side note, i heard that they are making a turbo that runs in conjunction with the supercharger. has anyone heard anything on that? is that even possible...i dont consider this guy a reliable source, so it would not suprise me if it was a load of ****. but just wondering...htanks guys
y do you think that it looks stupid?? I think it looks pretty good. I would like to see the look on your face when a "stupid looking" turboed cobalt goes blowing by you.

granted you had a bad experience with 300+hp on stock internals but compared to the m62 the turbo is alot easier to cool, and blown #4 is a heat/cooling issue in my opinion. While I agree Jon should swap internals, I am sure he is just waiting for it to blow too see how well the pistons hold up and when it does he'll just build it. Just my 2 cents. In the mean time there isnt a stock S/C cobalt that can touch him.

Turbo > S/C

Please explain to me this "stupid" look? If you read and search "This guy" is a good source. Many people in here are. SEARCH.

I believe the stock table goes higher, as many are boosting 18+psi. As to how high it goes, that i do not know.

Also, IAT temps never go above 115*

for above 15 psi (really 14.6 I think) I tune with the PE rate/ratio and timing tables. our stock VE table is a waste really since the car changes it a bit after driving for a while..

ps price on turbo manifold?

i think you need to STFU and not post when you don't know what you're talking about.
how can you talk **** and say it looks dumb, and then ask a question that we all know the answer to...? (making you look dumb)

anyways, congrats on having the nastiest cobalt around. looking foreward to some vids and track times. good luck with your clutch issues

I deny your motion. This is the best place for him to get his facts straight. He has just been taught a lesson in humility and that "loose lips, sink ships." Hopefully over the next few months, he can learn a bit about CFM and heatsoak...

Thats a sweet setup man.Is there a way you can gut the s/c out? This way you dont have to worry about making a new intake manifold and designing a new pulley bracket. If the price was reasonble on that kit,id be all over it.

Still sorting **** out. I have to get down to TTP to see if we can re-tune now that I have a much better flowing Header/DP. I'm sure we'll figure something out. Worst case scenario, I expand my BBB claim against JBP to include the cams and shipping costs and get a new set of cams...
