Cobra Heat Exchanger vs. Aftermarket?

I am looking into doing a front mount in the spring and I was wondering if there is a significant difference between the Cobra HE and one of the aftermarket HE kits (Cobalt Addiction).

Has anyone done a comparision? If not, can some of you guys post up some IAT2 numbers and state what HE you have?

Thanks

i just installed a cobra h/e and my IAT's are 40 degrees higher than outside temp under normal driving conditions at round 45 mph.

only difference is going to be in the install.... IMO

I am going with the Fluidyne for the Cobra. Looks to be a little larger. I will post some numbers after installed and the dyno runs are done.

Well the stock one is sandwhiched in between the rad and the A/C condensor, so it isn't as affected by heatsoak.

These are really easy to mount and they are dual pass. I mounted mine with the valve on top to bleed the system easier.

My Cobra H/E was $100 and dropped IAT2 by about 10 degrees.

nope, Cobalt has kinda taken a back seat for now. I have still have a set of springs in my room that haven't been installed and a set of tires to put on. So it won't be long, or you can do it first and let me know!
