cometic head gasket.

any guys with cometic head gaskets like them with the apr bolts?

haha ok good cuz i got mine and apr head studs and i just seen some post where some guy blew his and im like $h*t lol but thats reassuring lol. maybe they put it on wrong?? :P

its possible just make sure you follow the exact sequence in fastening down the head bolts that may be where some people have issues and there is a correct order to tighten them if u didnt know.

well arp has a special order to tighten them but if u go to a local parts store and buy a repair manual for your car it will have a head bolt tightening sequence that goes in a goofy order...you cant just tighten them in what ever order u want.

I had a cometic headgasket and Golden Eagle studs and it took 25psi from my twinscrew like a champ.

Oem is cheaper I believe, and they look identical held side by side.

No issues here with my cometic and arp combo.

I remember reading somewhere when I was making this decision that some tuner upgraded but then ended up going back to the stock gasket.

Yea, stock looks JUST LIKE cometic. They are both MLS. But the stock headgasket has more rubber and copper spray for better sealing. And it's cheaper.

Plus there are many cases of leaking cometics.
