Are any of the big companys working on one for these cars?

Thats the single biggest thing I want done in my SS right now . I personally think theres alot to be gained even without mods thru PCM tuning . Theres certainly some driveablity to gained thru the drive by wire throttle body . Gm hangs the RPM's up way much when u push the clutch in between shifts . Does anyone know if these cars have Torque Managament like most new cars do ? I know on the 05 Mustang , C6 and the GTP's there very resticted between shifts .

 

hypertech has a programer out for the Cobalt SS's and the 2.2 Cobalts. I think it runs for around 600ish. It can programe the topspeed, rev limiter, shift light, and a few other goodys too that i cant think of right now.

Ive been trying to get someone to contact them for months. I havent spoken with them in a while, so i dont know if anyone has contacted them yet, but anyone in the chicago area, contact me and Ill give you their info so you can be one of the first SS's with a reworked PCM.
