Control Arm Bushings Destroyed ( Pics inside)
I Don't know what else to say i feel pretty pissed right now that i paid $200 for these things and they did not even last a year. I bought and installed them in late august and now they are destroyed. Maybe you guys should get under your cars and check yours.

are those the JBP ones? I would contact them, I think those should last longer than that. This happened to someone else here and I believe JBP replaced them, sometimes the polyurethane doesnt settle right or something like that. Not totally for sure so hopefully someone who knows will speak up.
I am too, I'll be going with the Intense CAB's and Tranny inserst, I read on their site that the inserts are formulated for less harshness and vibrations, I think Intense makes their own polyurethane products now instead of vending them through JBP, regardless I'm going with them since their shop is only about 30 minutes from where I live.
I think possibly the reason that these bushings yield low abuse tolerance is because perhaps they are formulated to be too "solid" less give means more wear IMO

I think Intense used to only carry JBP polyurethane products, but now I believe that they manufacture their own, JBP polyurethane is always formulated in only the color red as their signature. Intense says on their site that they formulate their own and the bushings/inserts are both black

Wow, I was in the market for some of these, but if they are gonna end up like that.....200 bucks is alot for something that should last alot longer than a year. Somebody at JBP or wherever they manufacture these needs to find out what is going on because this has happened to a few people and is obviously a problem. Let us know what happens.

Its not even the fact of getting them replaced for free. Its the fact that you have to take time out of your day to replace them. Unless you payed to have them replaced which i doubt JBP would pay to get them replaced. I know CM didnt pay for fees due to their faulty clutches that were out on the market until they got the problem fixed. I'd hate to pay extra money to have something fixed to to someone elses bad product.

i'm guessing JBP doesn't warranty those for any certain time. if i'd have known i'd have kept my stock because the CABs really don't do all that much and i'm not looking forward to getting another set pressed in. Ain't that about a bitch.
Also, are you sure some of that damage wasn't from getting them pressed out? I destroyed my original CABs getting them out.

That is ******* weak dude.
I need to take a look at mine I guess.
JBP needs to step up on this one. Did you buy them through JBP or another vendor?
(Mine came from Intense)

ive had mine for over a year, i checked them a few months back and they seemed fine, my car should be in the air for a downpipe install in the next few days since my aftermarket one crapped out on me(flexpipe is useless) when we do that im going to examine the cabs,
but yes im sick of vendors not putting in the r@d, and then not helping the customers out when there are issues.........
