Someone should make a how to for option b tank s3 heat exchanger and dual pass endplate... I've searched... and searched. Got a nice diagram but still about to pull my hair out!

What part are you struggling with? It is a pretty straightforward install. List up some specific questions and we can help you out as there are already several how-to's out there on these subjects.

Well Im not sure where the bleeder hose goes off the tank. I heard you have to switch lava cores in the intake manifold? and still not sure where the h/e pump is. And there is a plug on the bottom on the tank! whats that??

what S3H/E?? if its ZZP its a direct bolt up...the opt. B is straight forward, take the bleeder hose from the top of the B tank and run it to the stock H/E, their is a plug on the top of it, and when you do the dual pass, make sure you get the seals in correctly, or you will leak into the intake

If you got everything from ZZP then you dont need anything...you should have an elbow with threads on one end and a hose barb on the other, this goes on the stock H/E and is used for the bleeder, use the small clear hose they provided and run it to the top of the Opt. B tank (make sure it wont rub or come in cantact with the belt)

to mount the H/E you can do it with the bumper on, i had mine off already.. if you look on the H/E you should see two tabs, thats what mounts to the back of the crash bar, they say its a direct fit, but i had to bend mine slightly to fit (no big deal)

use this diagram, with a small change, I noticed the hose on the bottom of the tank likes to pinch off a bit, so this winter i am going to get a solid 90* and put it on..I ran my hose down threw the hole by the windshield washer tank because if you run it above the tank height you risk the chance of air-locking the system...so what i am going to do is run a small section of hose, then put on the 908 where it would drop down, then hose to the Tee.

and finally for the End plate...the car came with the Dual pass so someone else needs to help with that (or use the search button)

Hey if your doing the dual pass endplate, you might as well go for the LSJ Phonelic spacer since you have to take the intake manifold off for both. I have the OTTP Stg1 HE, Dual Pass endplate AND The ZZP Phonalic spacer and Im seeing cruise IAT2s that are IAT1 + 9 to 12degrees!!

The spacer is a part that you place in between your engine and the intake manifold (cut out looks similar to a gasket). The purpose is to reduce head transfer from your engine to the intake manifold. If you are going to add this now is the time since you will already have taken off all the parts needed to install the spacer when you add your dual pass setup.

I bought a used OTTP, newest gen HE.

Anyone else have a nipple on the BOTTOM of the HE? I feel like it's where the previous owner hooked up option B, but that's def not right... I think im just going to seal it off?

I know it's not meant to drain the system, there's another valve for that

If it's the OTTP Stg 1 HE then its where they had a drain **** installed and used a plug instead. The style drain they had there was WAAY to vulnerable, Most people ive heard of replace it with a plug. I used a temp sensor though lol so now I know my HE Fluid temps hahaha
