Crank sensor relearn question.

Im going to be installing a ottp stage 2 within the next couple of days and i was wondering if its alright to drive the car to the dealer to get the crank sensor relearn done. Will it hurt the car? The closest dealer I trust to touch my car is about 20 min away.

Yes it is safe to drive to the dealer just dont get on it much at all, try to stay out of boost.

I dont really know anyone with hpt around me. Im sure theres a couple people who have it. Its just a matter of when they are available to do it. Its just easier for me to take it to the dealer. Thanks for the replies, I cant wait to install the kit.

The CASE learn has nothing to do with being easy on the car or staying out of boost. It is to establish the reference points of the crank sensor to the PCM. I drove around with an Intense Racing PCM that needed a CASE learn for months back in the day before I custom tuned.

Point in case, you'll be fine... If you're keeping that PCM, just get the CASE done whenever you can.
