There is no need to take you're bumper off and yes, it is real easy to route the hose. I would get atleast 8ft of hose though.

It is alot easier to take off the bumper. I did. You have to cut a piece out of your bumper beam to get the filler cap up so that it doesnt hang low and get hit on anything. So I suggest that its better to be safe than sorry. Do it right the first time and take the bumper off!!

I didnt really notice much of a difference wit mine. I haven't had a way to check and see how much cooer my iat temps are either. Then again, the warmest its been here is 19 degrees celcius.

You will notice about what everyone else does... a 15-30* drop in IAT2* other than that there is no real performance increase!

Has anyone thought about putting a water temp gauge on this system to see how the temps really change??

And some basic supplys for ya... 8-10' of hose, 8- 1" hose clamps, and lots of time and patience, getting everyrthing filled back up and getting all the air out of the system.

I used a mixture of distilled water, and dexcool in mine well Cobra but same thing. (about 70% water/ 30% dexcool)

It won't change with the bigger Heat Exchanger cause when it gets to a certain degree, you're thermostat opens and cools it until it gets back down. So you're coolant temp will always stay at about the same.
180ish is very normal.

THe hoses suck ass.... they use those damn crazy GM clamps, and the things to grab on to are facing up not down....

Make sure you take the time to get all the air out of the system, that is the biggest issue, air in the system means the fluid is flowing properly!

I actually filled my H/E before installing it so it made it less of a hassle to get all the air out!

Nor have I, It did take about three days to get all the air out of the system though.
M-Dub, how the hell did you fill it up without taking a bath in coolant?
