Here's a video of it idling and a slight rev to about 2,300rpm. The car this thread started to be about with the cyl #4 issue. So there is no confusion.

Well arn't you the bearer of bad news. All good, Can I just replace a sleeve with a new one? If so where can I get one, I checked google and didn't see anything. Comparing my options compared to girdled because I'm broke right now.

Nah, I appreciate the honesty. Can I replace a sleeve, and where can I find a sleeve?

im not sure if the cobalt sleeves are modular. either girdled block from zzp or find a used block will be cheapest.

not pre detonation (aka pre ignition) an engine wont survive that detonation will crack a sleeve or a piston ringland

Yea, I've been told detonation due to my crack in the ceramic on my spark plug. All makes sense.

*OFFICIAL UPDATE*:

OK. So detonation occured. Immediatly taking it out on the piston ring, which scored the sleeve, and damaged the piston. I'm no genius on valves, so I'm unsure if damage has occured, but I'll have someone look at it. We were expecting a lot more damage than actually occured. But still this requires a new motor or girdled. Looking into it, thanks for the support. Pictures below.

PICS:

Again, Thanks.
