DC Sports Exhaust
i really like the look and price of the DC Sports Exhuast, was wondering if anyone has heard it or has it on their SS/SC. It sounds really good on my friends SRT-4, anyone know of any soundclips?....THANKX

its a 2.25in exhaust made for the 2.2land2.4l fomr what i hear it takes some light modification to make fit. if you like the price look at gmpp or megan they are atleast made to fit the ss/sc. although some people have modified the dc sports to fit ss/sc. although it would sound a damn thing like your buddies srt-4. turbo cars never sound like na and sc cars.

yeah now im kind of anxious to hear it to. i asked this same question about a year ago and was told it needed to be modified to fit. someone also told me that it was 2.25in so i checked out dc sports website. it is 2.25in and its not for the ss/sc im sure it fits if you say it does but why put a 2.25in exhaust on a car that comes stock with 2.5in to the rear axle?? not to mention ther dyno sheet shows only a 4.5hp gain. obviously this would be different on an ss/sc but in a good way or a bad way?
ya i know the gmpp is also only 2.25 and i dont like the thought of that either. im sure its fine if you never make it past the gmstg2 hp area. but after that it has to be restrictive so for stock to maybe 245-250hp range im sure its fine. but i have a slightly larger dream. but hey thats just me. and the dc sports exhaust does look like it would look good on the car.

I got it from cobaltaddiction I also had them measure it before I bought it since 2.5 I was told was a good all around size . I like it because under 3200 rpm it sound just a lil above normal but getting it on you would swear your at the race im loading the sound clip from today now not sure how it will turn out.

i heard this was designed for the cavalier and just happens to fit cause they are both ecotecs. the box said cavalier when a few people recieved it.
people were saying that it's a little better than stock, but if you have stage 2 or other power mods, the primaries are too small and become restrictive.
I am the ranking official in the thread at the moment.
