Why would you tap into a MAP sensor? For a boost activated pump, you tap into a vacuum line. The line coming off the rear of the boost bypass solenoid that comes around to the supercharger.

Which Devils own kit did you get? I have a Devils Own kit I didnt have to tap into any wires for any sensor already on the car. What was all in your kit?

first of all is a boost kit or did you get the progressive controller. if its the progressive controller you need to tap the grey wire on the map sensor that is located on the left side of the car when facing it. its under the snout of the supercharger. very difficult to get to but thats what you need

boost and maf are two different readings. The MAF sensor is down in the wheel well attached to the intake. I have the boost switch so I don't know which wire you'll need to tap.

awww crap, wrong sensor....... nevermind DVSk8er is correct

its pretty simple to see if your meth is spraying if you have a W/B

i have the progressive controller, i have to pink going to a power source, blue going to the pump, of course black to a ground, but on the instructions it says grey wire is used only if the vechile does not have a MAP sensor and one is being added the it says for the green goes to 5 volt output signal of your MAP sensor

sorry i forgot to mention i have an AEM progressive kit... but i was just curious as to if it was a good vacuum line tap... i know its being used, ive noticed the level going down, but i cant tell if its working at 100% boost... i know its working at 50%...

timing is only at 20 deg, and for some reason im not getting passed 1.08 cyl air mass... even at redline in 3rd gear WOT

the green goes to the map sensor, it also doubles as the vacuum line...its so you can set your controlling to the amount of psi you want it to activate and what psi you want it squirting full strength. I have the same kit and thats how i was told it works.

well im just kinda going by what the instructions say, i looked at a guy i know who has meth on his cobalt and his wire is going to the MAF on the intake, and his works fine, also i looked under the snout, there is no wire connected to it, what is that sensor on top of the s/c???? im tempted to just tap that green wire into the boost gauge to see if that will work, i dont see y it should, it sends a signal to the gauge reading how much boost the car is making

ok so i tried my boost gauge theory and i dont think it worked cause the pump keeps constantly pumping, dunno if its doin this on its own cause it has to build up fluid or just cause u cant do that but i guess im trying the whole maf thing now

There are different setups...

Some people have MAF activated switches, and some have boost activated switches.

Sensor on Supercharger is scip.
