Look what Santa brought for me today. I am really looking forward to all the other goodies he has promised to bring me in the next 3 weeks or so.

If that's what you want, I am sure getting them is not a problem.

Diamond pistons are very high quality.

Hopefully it isn't X-Mas in July......more like May.

Thanks, I drive around just thinking how much fun it's going to be with all the power I will soon have, especially when someone comes flying up behind me. And the first few times at the track will be fun until people realise the car is not quite stock. But then there will always be twincharging.

See you guys at the meet on Sunday

compression ratio is important yes...but dont forget Forged internals can hold a lot more....thos pistons above are prolly good for 400hp if u have forged rods (dont get eagle)...it all depends on a tune too A/F is inportant part of an engines life....and those pistons will increase the hp in itself idn wat the Comp ration is stock but ull see decent gains from pistons...id get rods tho if u want to see over 300 play it safe man something has to give underhp....the piston wont but ur rods will slowly build...after the rods id work on the head....have fun, and take the time and do it right...

The supercharged 2.0 Ecotec already has forged rods that can handle 600+ hp if I recall correctly. The stock rods are fine.

Yes the rods are already forged.

As for the Comp Cams that I am getting they are the blower cam part # 113400 (specs on their site in the new online catalog) and they are good to 8,000rpm as is the head I have ordered.

Would you mind posting a link to their sites showing their specs? I couldn't find it on their site. Thanks

What do you think about cam # 113250? It's operating rpm's only go up to 7k, so you dont have to screw with the ecu. Also, what's the difference between a steel core and a cast core?

steel would be steel or forged and cast is cast iron which is heavy and not as duribly but good for stock and alil over....go with the steel if you have a choice...
