Question Do I have a clogged CAT???????

Was running around with friends on Sat night and towards the end of the night car started acting sluggish over 10psi. Checked intake piping and all boost piping. .

On the way home I noticed when doing some pulls that the boost was jumping between 10-12 psi very quickly and a nice farting sound from under the car????

Have not had time to pull the whole think off the check...Down pipe has been on the car for less than 6 months??? It is a 3 inch DP with a high flow cat.

IDEAS anyone?????

Thanks

******************UPDATE***********************

The whole interior of the cat was blown down the DP and ended up wedged between the DP and the cat back.....Check out the pics

it also may have come apart and filled your muffler, its more common with a stock cat, but its possible if you are running lean or high EGT.

Drive it at night for 45 minutes or so, look under the car, if it's clogged something will be glowing.

This is what I have found out so far without taking the dp off yet...Under boost the wired farting noise seems to be coming from between the downpipe and headers. I guess this could be because of the clogged cat or if the gasket was bad between the two and was leaking would that effect the car in the way described above by limiting power and not allowing over 10psi???????????????

The car is now starting to boost higher than it should in some cases 25 PSI this has to be a clogged cat right???????

Before reading the last post, I was going to say there might be a leak somewhere (hole) I had a hole in one of the welds in my exhaust on my Cavalier. At idle it would "fart" then when I gave it some gas it would have a slight BUZZING sound to it. If you're boosting more PSI than normal it's more than likely a clogged cat. Didn't know Hiflow cats could do that lol.
