Of the K&N intake on a SS/SC? I'm trying to decide on a cai, and i have heard the injen but i haven't heard the K&N yet? also, what do you guys think is the best intake for our cars?

Mainly the difference in sounds lol, i know pretty lame but i just want to see what one would fit my preference best. What kind of intake do you have?

i have the airbox mod on my 07 but before that i had k&n on my ss/sc and it was alot louder than the airbox mod and a bit more throttle response but it made me run lean and bog down all the time..i called k&n and they said theres a reason y they didnt make a cai for 07 bc the brakelines and **** idk good luck tho

get a fujita cai instead, 3" and the loudest

 

I trust K&N because they've been around for a loooonnnggg time and have an excellent reputation. Trust me, you'll never go wrong with any of their products so long as you follow the instructions.

Most people that do have problems **** it up themselves, usually by not cleaning the filter properly, ie adding way too much filter oil. Follow the damn instructions and you'll be good.

The Typhoon system supposedly adds ~10 hp, they've got dyno sheets on the site if you care about the numbers.

You won't be dissappointed with the sounds, I can promise you, frankly, the video I can make probably won't do it justice, since it's just my shitty digicam.

 

Well here is my car at our club meet . I have the Kand N intake and my car is the last blue Cobalt SS/SC in the group when I do drive by but you can definatly here my Kand N over the rest of the guys

well i will get a video set up for the ss/sc. i have made one for my ss 2.4 shortram because nobody could make a good enough video for the vortec. when my car gets back from gm (new cat and clutch assembly) i will make another one!
