Do you need to pull them out and switch them. I dont think it matters?! They are not flow directional are they?

take some pliers/channel locks and take a napkin or paper towel and put it around the lip of the core and pull them out with the pliers/channel locks. you only have to switch the first 2

When putting back together, allign the bigger slots with the airslots inside the manifold for optimum airflow!!

For the LSJ in the Ariel Atom that has a dual pass endplate, the Brammo engineers tested the laminova tubes in both directions are saw no difference in cooling so they left them alone to save assembly time.

Another Atom owner contacted the laminova engineer who developed them directly who said this:

The plugs in the centre hole of the cores normally should be located on the coolant inlet side (upstream). If there not, in most applications it should not be any problem. For some applications, the plug can come loose, but only for high system pressure applications.

on that note, i never switched my laminovas around when i installed my dual pass, and it still works the same as switching them around FYI. it doesnt matter how they are set up.

also, do you have to install a new gasket (or O-ring, or seal, or whatever it is) between the endplate and mani or just reinstall the stock one?

I have the CXRacing H/E and the Redline Coolant tank, was gonna install just this, but as easy as it sounds i might get the ZZP endplate and do the dual pass too...

i did because i pinched the O-ring, but i re-sealed it with RTV silicone adhesive, and problem fixed, stuff worked like a charm.
