Dual Pass Gasket Question
Workin on installing my dual pass plate today and the new gasket seems to be too long when installing it(theres like a 1/4" of extra gasket). So I tried using the stock gasket and its the same way.... wtf!? Im laying the gasket in the groove perfect and I have extra material and I cant figure out what is wrong! Any ideas?
Thanks.
Thanks.

thanks for the quick response but theres barely enough room in the groove for the gasket as it is. How am I suppose to keep it against the outside wall? Im almost to the point where im just gonna cut it and say f-it!

it will push against all the walls, but the idea of an oring is to seal on the outside wall, the bottom of the groove and the face its mouting too, you should be able to force it into the groove and it will just expand slightly when you do
the other thing is you can stick it in your freezer for a couplke oif minutes and it will shrink, then put it in the groove and warm up and it will expand to fill the groove, it wont shrink or expand a ton but it might be enough to get it in easy if your having issues

your input is useless, especially if you have no experience with this method
