Dual Pass Option B

I searched around for pictures on here but couldn't find any. what i am looking for is how people ran their 3/4" hose from the option b tank to the "fill" on the lines. I tried going behind the radiator hose but the pulley from the s/c is in the way. where did you guys route yours? someone show me a close up pic.

Thanks

you can run it right next to the pulley, like towards the front of the car. if you look at the underside of that front sill where the hose goes, the sill is notched at the top an bottom. Just take a pipe and hammer and give that sill a few taps so that it folds in (towards the front) a little bit. that should give you plenty of clearance. then drill a single hole towards the top of the sill, this is so you have something to put a zip tie through to hold the 3/4 heater hose tight against that sill and away from the pulley. it is the easiest way to run it and the cleanest, i have a good gap between the hose and the pulley and it is just a simple straight run to the filler.

u will see an opening in the tie bar by the dip stick. use a chisel to gently open it up a bit, put in some rust check, run the hose through, and it is protected from the s/c pulley. You are done.

i will have to look later, right now i have it running on top of the bar that goes across of pretty much the radiator support under the "notch" but seems to high up for the coolant to flow down to the " T " where it fills up the lines.

i'll get some for you tomorrow, i do not have any currently. i had the same problem tho when routing it properly. the way i'm suggesting is a natural flow and is the easiest (my opinion). you could possibly run it through the sill (tie bar) that powell is suggesting but my sill did not have an opening for it to come out of and then connect to the fill. instead of opening that end of the hollowed sill i'm suggesting to fold it in towards the front so extra room is allowed between the hose and pulley. i'll try to get some pics for you tomorrow.

there is a 6-8 inch opening the other side in back of the headlight, so lots of room. whatever you chose to do, make sure you dont have any kinks, and good luck
