Question Dual Pass Question

Hello,
I have a question about doing a dual pass for my intake.

If I get the Dual Pass endplate from OTTP. Will I still need to
swap arround the Lavimore corse in the intake? How hard is it
to remove and reinstall the intake and supercharge?

What additonal items will I need to do this? As once its apart I will be unable to
go anywhere until its all back together good.

Intake Gaskets? Supercharger Gaskets? Throttle Body Gaskets? Lavimore core
o-rings?

Ive read through the How To for Dual pass, and I'll review it again, but most of it seems to be modifying the end plate, wich if I buy the OTTP one, I won't have to modify.

yes youll need to swap the cores, i used pliers and a microfiber towel lol i wouldn't reccommend it though i did dent the end a very small bit didn't affect it or leak thankfully....there are some padded circular clamps you can get that would serve the purpouse better, they're very fragile....if you do gank one up i know zzp DID have a stockpile of them lol

yea i cant recommend pliers either. i damaged one of my cores and it filled the intake with coolant. i managed to fix it with jb weld but i still had to take it all apart again. i dont know what to suggest, but whatever you do, be gentle.

I don't get what you mean by this. They all come modified and ready to be bolted on.

still need to swap arround the Lavimore corse in the intake? yes

How hard is it to remove and reinstall the intake and supercharge? not hard at all. took me about an hour. read the "HOW TO". if you don't understand get a helper.

What additonal items will I need to do this? hose, clamps(stock ones glued and will tear the hose), and everything on the "HOW TO" list

As once its apart I will be unable to go anywhere until its all back together good? yes and with COOLER IAT'S

Intake, Supercharger, Throttle Body, Lavimore core o-rings/gaskets? can reuse

I would recommend getting a throttle body gasket though. When I did my dual pass I had a leak in the throttle body gasket. 74k miles. If it was recently replaced keep it, but if not just get one to be safe. Sucks to get it all together only to have to tear it all apart again.

Why throttle body gasket? You shouldnt be taking that off. Just pot the intake off the tb, and un plug everything from the tb and move the blower with the tb attached to it.
