Ebay INTAKE Install Questions

Hey guys I installed an intake on my good friend Ryan07SS car he called me and told me that when he goes WOT half way through the Rpm's the car fells slugish but after the car feels fine. What could be causing the problem? Now he wants to do the airbox mod but we would like to find some more research before we go that route because what if the same thing happens.

This is the kit I put on.

And yes the MAF sensor is on fine.

Ps: You guys have a very nice website here and i am thinking of getting a Cobalt SS as a second car very soon.

I have this same setup. You need to cut the pipe where the filter attaches. If you noticed that the pipe is smaller there than the rest. This is causing a choke point for the air so just cut the pipe to open it up and then put the filter back on. I havent had a problem since.
