Question engine power reduce message!????

guys, i have this issue since yestarday morning. for some reason when i first turn on the car in the morning the car turns on normal and then i get the eng pwr reduce message, so the car starts to iddle a bit harder then normal and its almost impossible to drive. after a while of turning it off and on and it passes 130degrees in temp then it turns on normal and it runs fine afterwards...this is weird but does anyone have any suggestions or inputs about this...

I really have no idea, but my gf's jeep is doing the same damn thing.

Her dad thinks it's the cam position sensor. You might need a relearn.

My Z06 had the same problem and it was moisture in the TPS.. Took it to 2 different Dealerships and they couldn't figure it out. Finally took it to my performance shop and had it up and running as good as new. Tricky part is if you OHM it out to see if the signal is within parameters it checks out okay but has a weak connection when moisture is present.

Good luck man..
