Engine RunUp Meth kit on cobalt ss blades ok?
Hey guys,
well, i ran the same meth kit on my s/c cavalier (m45 s/ci believe) and had no problems with corrosion on the blades. I know theres been talk about whether there is teflon on the blades or not (good or bad?). now, unless a company sells the sandwich plate seperatley, i'm going to run the kit before the s/c so it goes thru the blades. Is that ok on this s/c? Or is the meth going to eat the rotors like on the new 3.8l gtp s/cers (or so i've heard). Thanks! Nate |
Intense makes the spacer plate to run fluids in after the blower, but honestly you can run it through the screws all day long without issues.

there were some people running it before but it would be wiser to run after. You'll have a better place to mount the nozzles and it'll be more permenant.

I run mine before the blower. Easy install, no problems thus far.
