You ether need to go with an engine designed for FWD applications or look forward to a heck of a lot of work and a complete conversion to RWD. That engine wouldn't be your best bet.

something you may want to consider for power is a FWD v6 motor. there is a guy around here that crammed a 3.8L supercharged motor into a cavi. worked great.

First of all, it's not 350 hp, read the description at least, it's 290 hp and 330+ ft lbs. torque. The engine is also not 4.6L, 4.6L is smaller then a 350 CI engine... What the hell are you guys talking about. So far you've mixed up CI and HP as well as 4.6L = 350 CC, it's well over 5 Litres...

If you can't figure this out then I suggest you buy a 2.2L leaner car.

Hell you can get a 2.0 LSJ to 290 hp for less then this thing!

I dont think this will fit... "This 350 engine is not intended for marine use, and should be used in 1979 and earlier pre-emissions street vehicles or any off road usage". even if it did fit, it waould be easier, cheaper, more reliable to upgrade the stock lsj. imo.

Keep the LSJ, it is a great motor and I hear that some idiot around here thinks he is going to get 1,000whp out of his LSJ.

When I was looking into turbos I read that they havn't efficiently found a way to turbo charge the 2.0! Like correct me if i'm wrong but I heard that one of the cylinders had a problem. So i'm assuming they figured it out? but I guess i'll keep the lsj. but like I would like a 12 second cobalt. but I have only heard of one doing that. I think it was like 12.9 also lol. except for the drag cobalt that did 9.4 lol.

The Pro FWD Racing Cobalts run mid - low 7's on turbos.

All of the bolt-ons, injectors, tune, meth and either TVS s/c or turbo will get you to the 12's.

what do you think is better. the TVS s/c or Turbo? That would be sweet to have a 12s cobalt. Imo anyway. I think i'll start with a full exhaust from headers to cat back. =)

Just go to JBP and buy a mild performance engine if your worried about power holding...if the stock motor people can run 400 hp and thats an upgrade....**** you could probably reliably hit 500+ even if it only says 300...just turbo it. its not like 2.0l neccesarily equals bad....evo guys are running 700+ on their motors... with some build up of course but ya.

Wonder what a 2.4l stroker kinda deal would get you?
