I personally, am going to go for stage 2 and install my Billetflow interchangable pully system and be able to swap sizes if needed.

if im not mistaken, the step up from stage 1 to stage 2 doesnt include another recalibration, its just the pulley. so there really wouldnt be a need for going stage two, just stage one and then 2.8

Exactly and the computer will not need a piggyback to accept the smaller size. Everything is in a nice little package

HA I have this weird feeling that Gm is going to find a way to cockblock us on the smaller pully thing. With like an equation that can see if were running more boost than normal and pull timing or sumthing. Don't trust those guys at GM there some crafty ****'s.

GM is trying to make this platform there next big thing so just cuz it took them FOREVERRRRRRR to make these damn things doesnt mean they want to stop you from modifying it. Theres a powerpoint presentation some guy posted a while ago that was used during a GM meeting to decide what to do with the "tuner" crowd and its a fairly positive presentation on what GM wants to do. I dont know who posted it but for those who have it they know what I'm talking about.

So, 260-ish-whp <underrated 10whp from stock> plus intake and exhaust = Evo killer????? Is this theory correct?

Question for you guys...The Stage 2 you guys are talking about by GM...Is it better (or supost to be) than the stage 3 INTENSE has ready?

Well it should be safer. And it's warrantied, unless you put a 2.8 inch pulley on it which many of us will. I'd rather have something from GM on my car than aftermarket because they were the ones who built the car so they should know the car better. I'm not dissing Intense's stage 3, because that kit is sick. It probably puts down more hp than stage 2 definately but to be on the safe side i'm going with the GM Stage 2 kit so that I don't have to tune anything like you have to do with the Intense kit.

Hey don't worry. We are all here to help each other out. We don't know the price as of yet but it's been speculated around 700-800. And then install which would be about 300. So about 1000. Yes that's pretty expensive but in my opinion worht it since I am using the 2.8" pulley. And no, you do not have to get stage 1 to get stage 2. Stage 1 is just the reflash/recalibration. Stage 2 has the recalibration, larger fuel injectors, 3" pulley, and a new belt for the supercharge I belive so that the pulley doesn't slip. Even though I have a 2 size smaller pulley I ordered the non slip so it shouldn't slip at all. It would definately slip if i had a 2.6 inch pulley even if it were a non slip pulley. It would just be too small for the belt.

wrong:

Stage 1 = reflash and injectors (just like the SRT)
Stage 2 = reflash, injectors, belt and pulley

From the little I understand, the Stage 1 kit will include the recalibration necessary not only for the Stage 1 kit, but for the Stage 2 as well. As a result, no recalibration will be needed when you upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2, or just get the Stage 2 straight off the bat like I intend to. I guess GM intends to make that torque upgrade appealing enough that anyone who buys the Stage 1 and had a brain previously installed in their head will be getting the Stage 2 in the immediate future.

My problem at this point is strictly financial. I'm Active Duty USAF and it just blows my mind how many people EXCEPT me have the bankroll to support all this.

Well I can tell you that I had this money saved up from a while ago. I specifically saved all of this money for my car. Now this is going back 3-4 years ago. I'm taking some of it out of the bank now and buying my carbon fiber hood soon. Man I can't wait.
