I have been a memeber of this site for quite some time, ever since I first bought my car basically. There has been much debate on types of exhausts for our cars. This is what the exhaust shop said when I went to get my muffler put on.

Basically, the factory exhaust system from the down pipe back is 2.5" mandrel bent pipe. The only place where it is not 2.5" is in one small area as it goes over the axle and into the muffler. Now for people who go out and buy 2.5" exhaust, it's a total WASTE OF TIME, in my opinion. I can not see how you can make any more power with the same type of exhaust, but only shinier

I know I'm gonna get flammed for this from some people, but I just thought that everyone needs to know the truth, because I have seen it for myself.

What is an E85 cobalt? Do you run on ethanol? I guess it does have a higher octane rating......

What makes my credibility so minimal? And it was a typo, I just changed my sig recently. When was the last time you saw an automatic cobalt ss s/c? lol

Exactly why I just did a 40 dollar cat delete and tossed on a 30 dollar muffler, lol. Temp solution though.

 

That's awesome, I should be getting my zzp header/downpipe combo this friday, right before NOPI....talk about doing everything at the last minute...lol.
