finally stage 2!!
Also makesure you get all your original parts back and the install bits.
I got mine from the same place you did and as long as you have the paperwork that comes with it that should prove it is an original GM part.I mean how can it have the authoration code for the flash if it's not GM?I even asked the service manager if it would be a problem if I had the fujita cai instaled and he he told me no as long as all the sensors were hooked up it's OK.He said no warranty problems.Good luck!
Yes, it is covered by the manufacturers warranty... they are complete tools if they believe that!
And 200 is about the going rate around these parts! Mine was 210 because a new S/C gasket was needed!

You know what, after I put on the cai I had the cel come on a couple times but after buying only shell 93 octane it has not come back.I saw a post about a week ago that said they were getting lean code errors and figured out it was because the gas had to much alcohol in it .Look for the post.
I know
First he said $360 to do it & then he lowered the price to 1.5 hours which = $135, and then the service writer asked me "Does $100 sound okay?" when he was closing out the paper work.
Umm..."hell yeah!"
It's good to have techs/nice guys on the forums!

[QUOTE=firemanfrank;1657729]It's a safety issue (to keep from accidentally shifting into reverse).

I drove to a convenient store and when I went to back out to leave ... I didn't know how to get it into reverse!
Had to get the manual out of the glove compartment and look it up.
LOL
I only knew bout that because I worked on a few 5 speed cavi's that have the same design, took me a while to figure it out in that car! Congrats on the stage 2! When you leave the dealership, be sure to check that your RPM's can go all the way to 7 grand. Also, when you go tell them you want all the orginal parts too, that way you can get the pulley bolts tool.

7000rpm baby! And it gets there fassst!
And I didn't even have to tell the dealer to box up my old stuff. They already did it.
(in the CrateEngineDepot box was the original pulley, all the old fuel injectors, the old belt, and the torx head for whatever they had to use it for)
My dealer did the job right. I like that!
