Finally went on Corn! :)

Well i managed to get some 60s from a friend this past week for a pretty good deal and Chevycobaltss3 was gonna be up our way this weekend for our Indy cruise so since I am running a 2.9 we put the 60s on and tuned it for E85. Really really likin the difference, definately a noticeable power gain. much more noticeable than smaller mods like a header, downpipe stuff like that and the smell

My mods now are: ZZP 3" Intake, Bad-Mab Header, ZZP 3" Catted Downpipe, ZZP 2.9" Pulley, 60# Injectors, Ingalls ETD, and E85 with HPtuners. IDC's are at 91% so I will be switching to 80s eventually, but probably wait til after winter.

Few minor questions. I guess I should probably go catless now, but being that I already have the 3" downpipe would u reccommend just cutting the cat out? gutting the cat? and then also i need to get a catback cause i'm still rockin the stock exhaust which sounds like butass btw cause the stock muffler is pretty much blown out to hell lol.

and also not sure what to do next? won't be going TVS, can't really afford that, but was thinking the catless 3" downpipe with a decent 2.5" catback with a really big resonator and big muffler to keep it somewhat quiet and rasp down although i do realize it's an LSJ and it will be catless so there's only so much you can do. Only other thing i can think of was maybe getting a stage 3 H/E and dropping down to a 2.7" with 80s after a while.

I know lol. i cut out the stock resonator and put in a 2.5" in/out magnaflow glasspack that has a 4" body, but thats it. If one of my local friends here gets a catback on his turbo i'm gonna put his turbo catback on my car and just put a different muffler/tip on.

I didn't just buy it here recently. bought it just before winter. I thought about maybe just getting the cat cut out and weld a 3" pipe in place of it or maybe just buying a 3" catless and then sell the catted. idk it's tough to find a shop around here that will take the cat off and when you do they wanna charge out the ass to do it.

Thats one of the best things about E85, these are not needed .

Wish there was E in Canuckville.

yea the E is actually helping as a cooling mod and since i'm only running a 2.9 pulley I should be ok. I mean yea you won't hurt having all the cooling mods, but in the future the only cooling mod i plan on adding is a stage 3 heat exchanger. only way i'd do the other 2 is if i were to come across a really really good deal.

Sounds like u got a decent setup now. but yea, heard it time and time again, u can never have enough cooling mods, so i'd work on settin up stage 3 h/e before smaller pulley and bigger injectors. i decided ima get a h/e before i even go stage 2.

current mods list in my sig

yea so far just running. ZZP 3" Intake, Bad-Mab Header, ZZP 3" Catted Downpipe, ZZP 2.9" Pulley, 60# Injectors, Ingalls ETD, and E85 with HPtuners.

Idk if I missed anything or not, but thats basically it other than i have a 4" resonator instead of whatever the stock one is, still stock catback though. so ready for a new catback. need brakes and a wheel bearing or hub and gotta pay for a ticket and plates before i can have anymore fun though.

i believe he said i'm running 30* of timing in the mid rpms down to around 26* of timing in the higher range. And yes I will definately be looking into a stage 3 H/E after winter as i want to drop pulley size again and go with 80s.

It is a cooling mod. It burns a lot cooler then regular gas and on top of that it a high octane.ebrisol has a hole thread on it.
