front mount heat exchanger ????????

i just installed ottp's front mount and i was wondering what coolant temp you all are running. i havent installed the rest of the stage 2 kit yet, but only noticed a few degrees difference in temperature. it is currently 85--90 degrees here where i am and my cars running 181--189 degrees.

You sure you don't have an air lock? Without an option b it's very hard and time consuming to bleed. I don't have any cooling mods yet and with my OTTP stage 2 after a 4th gear pull the highest i've seen was 158 degrees

ugh...coolant temp and intake air temperature 2 temps have nothing to do with each other. engine coolant is inside the engine. IAT2 is the coolant for your heat exchanger/intake manifold

K lets clarify this. Are you talking IAT2 temps or engine coolant temps?

Engine coolant temps are not going to change because of a heat enchanger.

A heat exchanger is for you're Intake Air Temps. Not you're engine temps. Get an interceptor gauge to monitor it

If the stock h/e wasn't flowing correctly due to air lock, could this not cause an increase in engine coolant temp due to the stock h/e sitting right in front of the rad?
