What do people generally do to upgrade their fuel system? Upgraded pump, rewired pump, return style fuel system and/or boost reference? My tuner has implied it would be a good idea to upgrade my fuel pump because the amount of demand I now have. I was wondering what all of you have done to make your fuel system more robust?

 

What are your mods?

I'm on a Walbro 450 pump, ZZP fuel pump rewire and ZZP BRFPS.

What's the fuel pump rewire? Is that necessary even with the better pump (I'm not sure what it does).

Power adders are TVS on 2.8" equivalent pulley, lots of cooling mods, meth/water, head port matched on exhaust side, ZZP S2 blower cams, ZZP LT header and 3" cat-back exhaust, balance shaft delete so rev to 8k. Still running LSJ TB.

Is a Walbro 450 a Walbro 450 or are there different configurations?

 

I have a walbro 255 in mine.

 

The rewire kit hooks fuel pump voltage right to the battery. People even run it on the stock pump to get more out of it.

I used to run a TVS on 2.6 pulley with water meth. You shouldn't need a bigger pump on pump gas and water meth. What are your IDC's at?

 

I remember people testing the 255 and it was hardly any better than the stock pump.
