GODDAM MOTHERFU)*Y&*( CEL!!! This is not my first intake install and I made sure everything was tight. Anyone else with this intake have any fitment issues? My intake goes down so deep that it rubs the bottom at the splash guard and the inner liner where it bends forward. Also the regular hose clamps that came in the kit are so goddam short that they barely leave room to slip the tube in to tighten. I am not happy at all with the fitment and not impressed in the least! The sound of the charger is loud as **** now and definately pulls harder. I'm gonna go outside in the morning and try and sort the CEL and **** out

Hey Ninija....I had fitment issuses as well I just took my time and played with it a bit and it when't in ok....But make sure you put rubber/wire loom around the hole between the top and bottom as well put wire loom around the intake were its against the PCM on the corner it will rub there too...Don't worry I got a CEL too I am trying too figure out why? Stupid GM and there MAF's that thing is way too sensitive! Colin

Ninja, I read over on SS.com that you say you got the code after disconnecting your battery.

I'm really hoping thats what it is here, PCM kma code. It should go off after you drive, turn you car on/off a few times.

Otherwise, How does it perform? If the code goes out, was it worth it?

Did you guys clean the inside of the tubes. ( i dont have question marks sign) mines had like some dust on it like a fair good amount and I cleaned it and i disconnected my battery i let the car ran for like 3 mins and then i punched it soooooooooo hard. And its been like 3 days now and no cel for me. I think you guys did soemthing wrong tho. And the dirt inside the the intake might throw the maf off im guessing.

Ninja, I encountered each one of your problems when I was installing mines. All but the cel that is. I used one of the clamps from the stock intake to connect one of the pieces to the hose. Now this is a two people job, you will need your friend to hold your intake in many of the occasions and to help you out with the clamps and all that. I know this sounds dumb and not real but the tight work space makes it obvious. I really didnt get that mad like you tho ninja. lol. I thought the increase in power and louud ass freaking supercharger which sounds like a freaking cobra makes it all worth it. A clamp and a dumb cel that can be easily fixed should be a big problem. NOW GO OUT AND DRIVE YOU CAR MAN AND ENJOY THE WHINE!

CEL is gone as that wasn't really a concern for me because I had an idea it was the PCM KMA code. As for te lower intake tube, I tell ya man i removed it a total of 10 times since yesterday and for the life of me I can't get it to fit right. It sticks out far enough that I have to push on the fender liner HARD to be able to bolt it back in. The tire rubs the liner in parking lots during full lock right turns, this wouldn;t normally bother me but with winter coming I don't want to get snow in there.

I did clean the inside of the tubes; they were full of dust. Intake isn't installed yet; it was raining all today long here ...

We don't own imports so why would we pick up an import mag?

Ljavy17 - Do you have any pics yet. The last one that was posted does not do justice. -Erik-
