Unfortunately, with the g85 its you get all of it or you dont.

Edit: Quaife makes the diff. but it's gonna cost ridiculous amounts to buy and install it aftermarket

Yes the unit is expensive but imo it is well worth it if your going to add any power. Its $1500 for that part and i was quoted $990 for install along with my clutch and flywheel. The diff is all gears not clutches to wear out and its much more friendly than a clutch diff.

Dont worry. Autotrader also has 935 82-97. for over $5,000. In 10 years your cobalt will worth less than the 85 camaro.

Anywho...

I wouldnt worry to much about getting the LSD unless you plan on Autocross. Then it might be better to trade your car in for one with the LSD.

Spend that on some good tires instead. Or sell your car and buy one with LSD.

Damn! Does every single thread end up off topic?

Sorry dude, you should have got the g85 when you ordered. Nothing you can do now but see if the dealer will let you cancel and reorder.

Stick to the topic. If you wanna pick a fight or arguement write'em an email and keep it between yourselves. I know I didnt join this forum to hear someone bitchin about another individual opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and everyone else should respect them. Just so you know I used to fight alot when I was 16,17,18. So I joined a boxing club. Anyways a limited slip although expensive is worth the investment. sorry for getting off topic.

Well with the LSD the car just understeers and both tires spin. Fast in slow out seems to help.
