G85 question

I did not know that the Cobalt SS S/C came with a G85 diff until reading on this site. I was curious, I have a 2005 and where does it saythat you have the g85. Is it on the sticker for the car. Under options or is it in the vin.

you have to get the recaro seat option @ the delear...it comes with the recaro racing seats and the LSD

It shows up as the G85 performance Package,

yes it does... i thinks it says g85 performance package or something of that sort....

very rare...mostlikely 85% you dont have it unless you have "recaro" stictched on your seats..................you dont have it

The Seats Have SS on them not Recaro they are all black with mesh centers , if you have colored inserts you do not have G-85 .

****!! i need to get that lsd then.,,,i really wish i would have known that my car didnt have lsd...otherwise i would have gotten the ss with the g85 package.

i got the g85 lol first its on its second tranny cause of the lsd i hope this one handles the drags this year my best 15.8 at like 97 mph or somthing the lsd blew up at the tree as i was shifting into second and i just hammerd on it was under warrenty anyway lol its the only time a civic has ever beat me it was one of those si but turbo he ran 15 flat
