i got my fuel pump replaced under the 60k power train warranty.. it all started with the end cap regulator thing on the end of my fuel rail ($80 part) which made it have enough pressure again to make the fuel pump fittings start to leak.. i was lucky i took it in with 59k miles on it otherwise it would have been about $500 bucks with parts and labor
So I went to the dealer and the dumb **** with horrible customer service said my car wasn't eligible.. hmm lets see car shows the same exact symptoms as the recall and my car is registered in AZ just as the recall states wtf else do they need? lol Seriously **** general motors, the government should have let them fail!

When I took mine in, they dropped my entire gas tank. I didnt watch them do the whole job but I saw at one point they had my gas tank down and on some kind of cart
Thats where the Fuel Pump modual is. Mine had a hard time starting and would not hold fuel pressure. When I looked under the car it was leaking down from the back sdie of the fuel tank area
Glad you got it fixed at least. Report them. You should have gotten a letter in the mail about it. I had to dig mine up lucky i kept it when mine had the problem.
guy at my work bought a super low 07 ss/sc from oklahoma (we are in kentucky) had it shipped to them, has like under 12,000 miles,.....had this problem, he went to fix it himself, buying the new part and put it on, found out after searching online their was the recall...dealership ended up reimbursing him the money for the part (whole new fuel pump i believe)
