Here you go codyss, it's a fart can tho. Taken at the GM small car bash. I think it's the GM Corsa exhaust, I dunno if GM and Borla are teaming up.

 

Corsa is listed on the GM Performance website. I don't think Borla is teaming up with GM

 

so what are the other goodies??im hoping they will be released with sema, is that intake for 2.0 SS???

 

That intake looks like POOP. I would not put that thing on my car.. Watch it adds like 30whp...

Its just a foam filter.... it doesnt look that bad... Not that you can even see the filter on an SS anyways !

 

If that's the intake that comes with it you probably would see it, and suck in warmer air from the engine compartment.

I hope the GM CAI is mor like the K&N than that short ram.

Well considering it's under your car looks don't matter too much.

 

Guys that picture is off general ecotec performance parts so the intake might not be for the cobalt and just an example of an intake. *crossing fingers*

If you look at all the concept cobalts GM definetly has a lot of taste and great design sense.

FWIW , I have been talking with Corsa because its the exhaust I plan to use . They assured me that sound was as much a priority as power output . The Corsa guy said their system is slightly louder than stock and does not sound like a fart can .

That is ram air . If you go on the pics section, Under gm small car bash you can see the car there and what the hood looks like when shut. Don't know if I am crazy about the look of the hood. But I am definatly interested in the ram air .

 

I like the hood also, but how does that stop any rain or water from going right into the SC?

I know with my dad's 1970 cuda that has ram air there are whole that drain the water out. before it get's to the engine. Know I wonder who makes this......hmmm.......
